James Ruskin Since beginning his musical career in the early 9
s, James Ruskin has continued to push the limits of electronic music through his uncompromising releases. In 1996 James set up "Blueprint" records with Richard Polson and "First contact" by outline was released by the pair early 1996. Jame"s first album "Further design" was released on Blueprint in 1997, and this paved the way for two further albums for Berlin"s Tresor records, "Point 2" released in 2
and "Into submission" in 2
1 which helped secure him worldwide recognition. Also involved in several collaborations including ep"s with Surgeon (Sound Pressure) and Holiver Ho (Mutate and survive) he has also created music for Sony Playstation. Blueprints sister label "Coda records" was launched in 2
as an outlet for wider selection of artists both new and established is now on it"s eleventh release. James renowned dj sets have taken him to Japan, South America, Australia and some of the best events in Europe, special performances include a 6 decks set with Oliver Ho, this will be supplemented by a new venture with Karl O"Connor as "o/v/r"
this new project will include a joint digital / live performance and the launch of a new online medium "the-anti-nation.com" where exclusive mixes, tracks and merchandising will be available. James is currently busy preparing new material with Karl O"Connor and recording a fourth album for Blueprint.
