Basto!'s debute 'Rock With You' charted in its first week at nr 1 in the official Belgian dancecharts during the summer of 2005. The ultra catchy commercial groovy tune with - a bit of trance - became an instant classic in the Belgian clubs. A 'NUfrequency mix' was made at the end of the year and the re-release of the vinyl charted again at nr 1. Basto!'s 'Rock With You' became one of the hottest records at the Midem fair 2006 (held in January) in Cannes. It was signed all over the world with the best dance companies: Ministry of Sound UK & Australia, Airplay France, Alphabet City Germany... to mention a few. Basto! became number 1 in Armin van Buuren's playlist, Floorfiller on Kiss100 London, Dance Smash on Radio 538 Holland and the record is in the box of Steve Smart, Jacques Lu Cont, Tall Paul... At this moment Basto! is already top 20 in the official cd single charts of Belgium and Holland. The rest of Europe will follow shortly. Basto! was the subject of a heavy bidding war in UK and will be released overthere in September 2006. Basto! is Jef Martens and he plays groove, house & electro.
