This week's tribute features one of the finest minimal artists in the scene, Stewart Walker. Stewart grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. In the early 90's, he looked beyond America's derivative Pop scene to focus on emerging UK Pop musicians then experimenting with electronic effects and rhythms, noting specifically the Manchester sound of Happy Mondays and Stone Roses, and eventually switching to the pure electronic sounds of 808 State, and LFO.
