Considered one of the founder of dance music, Kenny Carpenter starts his career as a light technician moving in the hottest clubs in the underground scene of New York City, but his lucky moment is in the early 80’s, when they call him to play records at the renowned “Studio 54”, the most distinguished club for rich and famous people in the city.
Later in the 9
’s, one of the most important clubs in London, the “Ministry of Sound”, wich is also a label, hires him for a one year tournée in Scotland, Ireland and England. Kenny plays worldwide, lots of times in Japan, in the main clubs of Tokjo, Osaka, & Sapporo, as well as in the best clubs all around Europe, shaking the dancefloors of the hottest and most fashionable clubs in Athene, Mykonos, Ibiza, Milan and Rome, too.
For four years he rocks the soul of all dance music addicted with his weekly show on a New York radio station, the WBLS 1
7.5 FM. During the years, he mixes and produces dance tracks for several independent labels including his own production “Season of Time” and, of course, the anthem of all clubs ”Set It Off”, with his Jus Bone.
