Daniel Derek was born on in year 1979 in Graz (Austria) and discovered his love for electronic music with the age of 16. 3 years later it began the interset for djing on the turntables. In those days Daniel started buying Vinyls and presented them at several events.
Even one year later he had his first gigs in local clubs in Graz and the next years he really worked hard to have a well known name in Graz.
In the years that followed, his talent was recognised by visitors of many Austrian clubs, and this success led him on to present his music in foreign countries, such as Germany, Hungary, Poland, Croatia and Bosnia.
Until now he performed lots with DJs like Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, Marko Nasti
;, Ben Long, Dj Ogi, Christian Varela, Billy Nasty, Marco Bailey, Leandro Gamez…etc.
Derek Daniel loves to play with three turntables and the DJM6
of Pioneer. He always needs the Alesis to make a perfect and varied set for himself and the people. His individual style is fascinating for everybody who loves groovy, funky and driving sounds.
