I don’t even remember the time when I’ve met Chris for the first time. I guess it was at some techno party somewhere deep in the Slovenian woods. After that we’ve stayed in touch trough his office and it kind of became a tradition for me to make interview with him at least once a year. I’ve followed his artistic growth, conquering Ibiza alongside Mauro Picotto with the Meganite project, successful emancipation with his own Spinclub nights, building new studio, developing his sound and side projects and lately being one of the pioneers of new no-decks club performance concept. Although I sometimes find it difficult interviewing artists I’ve already met in the past, this isn’t the case with Chris. Actually I think this is of the best interviews I’ve done recently. And I hope you’ll share my enthusiasm after you get familiar with the new technology that could finally drive the turntables out of techno clubs.
