It was the day after the announcement of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll official results in London, so James was a bit tired after performing the night before at the party. He climbed 8 places and finished at slot no. 17 this year, but doesn’t put too much weight on this chart since it’s basically a popularity contest. He finished the set in the smaller room right before Umek (he’s on the slot no. 29. in this year’s pool, gained 53 places and Kanzyani moved up 40 places to position no. 75) started, so I’ve asked him to comment on his performance. The response was very positive, although the sound system in that particular club isn’t of the best quality.
