Deetron is a Swiss techno DJ and producer who produces warm techno with the soul of Detroit, so it’s not surprise his turf is He came to notice at the end of the nineties with tribal techno 12"s on Phont and Primate, and since then he’s been keeping busy – working with many of the usual suspects making dance floor driven techno, releasing on Intec and SLS and saddling up with Belgium’s Music Man, a move which has resulted in some of his best work thus far. At the end of the year 2006 he released his first LP titled Twisted and it's been busy since then. Deetron’s last performance on Slovenian turf also dates in the late 2006, so it’s going to be really interesting to check him out again now, when he’s putting the final touches on his new long player. Different Grooves crew is hosting their party with Deetron at the Tivoli club, Portoroz / Portorose on the Saturday May 3rd 2008.
