Milan - during the fashion week top models are on the catwalks of Gucci, Prada & Co., while in the La Scala opera house famous tenors entertain enthusiast’s with wonderful arias. On 1st October, however, the clocks tick a bit differently in the fashion capital. Namely in the 4 / 4 beat as the Time Warp, one of the most famous techno festival, visit Italy for the first time.
For one day only the fashion center turns into the capital of the electronic music scene. The first Time Warp in Italy is a thank you to the many Italian fans of this big event. Each year thousands of Italians travel the long journey to Mannheim or Holland to celebrate the Time Warp. In 2011 we are making this journey a lot shorter. On October 1st the Milan exhibition center, Fiera Milano Rho, will host the first Time Warp in Italy. The ultra-modern exhibition center fits perfectly for this techno export from Mannheim, Germany because of its futuristic style and advanced technical capabilities. The hottest international DJ’s will follow the call of the Time Warp to come to Milan. Confirmed so far are the Time Warp headliner’s Sven Vath, Minus mastermind Richie Hawtin, and British turntable wizard Carl Cox. Under no circumstances should Marco Carola be missing considering that he is a flagship of Italian techno. The line-up will be completed by Italian local heroes such as DJ Cirilo and Lele Sacchi.
